Just look at this beautiful view from the horse's paddock. How lovely is that?Because it was such a lovely day I turned them out without rugs on after their ride and they are obviously feeling very well because they had a great hoon around the field. Georgia and I took Red and Dove out for a fast hack finishing off with a gallop up the grass gallops. We got their heart rates up higher than with proper work up the all weather and they enjoyed it, which is the main thing. It shows how important it is to vary the work as once they get used to doing the same thing it is difficult to get them any fitter. The vet came to vaccinate the foals, get Frog's passport sorted out and take a blood test from Dream to see if she has got rid of her infection enough to run this weekend.
