We are at Cheltenham now for four days - brilliant racing yesterday, with most of the favourites getting turned over and the small yards getting a look in - that's the beauty of National Hunt racing, it's not always the most expensive horses from the big yards that win. We went by bus with the local pub The Holly Bush, it was rather nice not having to drive and they thoroughly spoiled us with a lovely breakfast before we left, drinks all the way down and a picnic at the end of the day, Very nice indeed!
Today we have been invited to join Judy Wilson in her box for lunch. Her horse, Punchestowns is second favourite in the RSA chase. it will be very emotional if he wins because her husband, Lynn chose the horse France, and has since tragically been killed in a car crash. He always wanted a festival winner....
