Well, we have walked the courses and have decided that the Oakley conditions will suit Frog perfectly, so she is now due to have her debut on Sunday, she had been entered for Saturday too but we think this track and surface will suit her better with Dove as her rather dubious companion, who is also due to run in a later race but may or may not deign to run depending on what mood she is in - having refused to race in her past.
Velvet Red will run tomorrow, but once again it depends on conditions as she is in the last race and as it is pouring with rain at the moment, conditions may be too testing for her as we don't know whether her wind operation has worked sufficiently or not. There wasn't a race suitable for her at the Oakley as we would have run her there as well.
Yesterday I planted all the wild flower seeds that I had been given for Christmas (they were on my pressie list) around my office and lots in the orchard near the shepherds hut. I'm (rather worryingly) very excited about how they will (hopefully) look during the summer. I am now also the proud owner of a new greenhouse where I get enormous joy out of seeing my vegetable seedlings grow. The worrying thing is I seem to be turning into my mother rather more quickly than I would have liked....
Anyway, fingers crossed for tomorrow. We just want Red to come home safe and sound having not disgraced herself.
