Dove resting up after her race

Dove came 2nd!! First of all I must apologise for not blogging sooner and letting you know what our plans were - things have been somewhat hectic lately (AND I've got flu!!) - Anyway, we walked the course last night and although the ground was rather on the quick side we thought as she is in such an amenable mood at the moment we should run her before the mood changes. There were a lot of very good horses in the race and she was completely unfancied, but she ran a cracker, jumped like a stag and came a good second to the very hot favourite, we were absolutely delighted as she seemed to love it and started with no problem at all. Velvet Dove is back on track...WHOOOPEE!!
