The shepherds hut is now finished and is in pride of place in it's winter quarters - We have already christened it with a supper party for our new owners and a drinks party or two... During the summer we will put it by the river but at the moment it is just at the bottom of the garden as it is more easily accessible.

The rescued chickens have settled in really well and are now laying again. They just can't believe their luck and are getting more and more adventurous around the farm, they are reluctant to go to bed, probably because they think that if they do they will be shut up for ever again. They are growing feathers and are looking almost normal,
