It was pouring with rain yesterday but we still managed to get most of the horses out. Harry is still having a little break - He had a temperature of 39.6 centigrade (103.28 F) so he is proper poorly but still eating up well. Typical male!
I rode Doris for the first time for a long time and couldn't believe how well she has come on - she feels like a proper horse now and absolutely loves her work. She flew up the gallops and barely blew afterwards. I had the heart monitor on her and was very impressed with the readings. Annoyingly we have had the monitors out on loan recently and would almost certainly have known that there was something brewing with Harry had he been wearing one. I have also completely sold out of horse velvet as a lot has been going out to different yards recently (probably because of the virus) it always takes a long time over the Christmas period to arrive, so hopefully when it comes we can get back on track.
Doug has gone hunting today on Jake and I'm trying to catch up with jobs at home. I'm picking Jay up from the airport tomorrow. She will be rather surprised to see me as she thinks we have gone skiing. She thinks I'm batty anyway, and this will definitely confirm her suspicions!
