A very quick post as we have friends from Cornwall who are staying with us for three days and it looks a bit rude if I tuck myself away in the office - Oaka ran a brilliant race for first time out - there was fifteen in his race and he came fifth, running on well at the end with his ears pricked - Will said that he had a job to pull him up as when he was overtaking tired horses the penny dropped and he suddenly got racing. We were all delighted with him and the owners and connections were over the moon. He has come out of the race really well so will probably go again in two weeks time. Very exciting.
