Well, we have been struggling a little with the horses during this cold weather - thank goodness for the horse walker - all the horses have been having a good hour on that and then are turned out, the gallops are frozen and it is snowing now, which puts paid to any fast work we had planned for tomorrow as the uphill gallop has been worked today and would have been fine for tomorrow. We're not getting too stressed about it as the horses were all pretty fit before the cold snap and shouldn't lose too much fitness, just hoping it doesn't last too long as once again the 'window of opportunity' for racing then becomes very small. Doris came home today and it was lovely to see her again. Emma has done a brilliant job with her leg, and now she just has to rest up a little in the yard with Dream. She seems really happy and is very relaxed. Off to Rome tomorrow and really looking forward to it - So much to do before we go so I will take my leave and start some packing....
