My computer died last week and has spent the last few days in hospital being resuscitated, hence the lack of posts.
We have had another very wet week and the bottom meadow is completely under water again. All the horses are going really well, but once again, because of the wet weather it might be a while before they actually race. We have four horses entered for Chaddesley Corbett, on the 28th - Definite Dawn in the Mens Open, Ponty Pandy in the maiden (he was entered for the non-rules maiden but the secretary put him in the wrong race) View the Dance and We Never Give up in the restricted. There are around 230 entries, about 40-50 in each race so there will be a few divided races. It depends on the going as to which we are going to run. Jess (We Never Give up) is unlikely to go as it will be too soft (if it's on) I would have been reluctant to run View the Dance but I have just watched her half brother, Alpha Victor win a three mile hurdle race at Haydock in the mud, so it may well be that she will like the going. DD won his maiden in the heavy, so he should be fine and Ponty Pandy just had the one run on firm ground, so we don't know about him. He looks as though he should be able to go on any ground though, so fingers crossed that it is on as they all need an outing.
