We had a fabulous owners morning with no empty saddles - Phew!. We took the horses around the big grass field in two lots - In the first lot we had Exclusive Rights (Scruffy) Lady Barfad (Goody), We Never Give Up (Jess) View the Dance (Dancer) Velvet Cloud (Cloud) Out Of  Range (Harry), Glory Hunter (Murphy) and Ponty Pandy (Ponty). We then all came back to the yard for bacon sandwiches, coffee and bucks fizz, and then the second lot consisted of Popaway, Velvet Shadow (Doris) Intimate Whisper (Whisper), Definite Dawn (Bryn), Sea Rock (Rock), Don't Budge me (Budge), Doctor Kingsley (Jake), and Back in a Flash - This lot could have been complete chaos as there are some very strong characters who all want to be in front but somehow we kept it all together. We then all came back for a second sitting of sitting of breakfast which probably wasn't great for Toby and Peter's diet - it was a brilliant morning and the owners loved seeing their horses work. A great job done by everyone.
This afternoon we are off to the rugby (Northampton v Ospreys) and then going to the Wormleighton Young Farmers Harvest Supper, which rather annoyingly clashes with the Pytchley opening meet party - always a fun event and sorry to miss it this year.
