What a FANTASTIC days racing with Exclusive Rights WINNING, Endofdiscussion coming a very good running on second and Jess (We Never Give Up) third. Exclusive Rights (Scruffy) exuded class and cruised into the lead with a circuit to go, much to our concern as the instructions were not to go to the front too soon, but Peter proved us wrong and she was hard on the bridle all the way to the finishing line. An absolutely wonderful result for Patrick and Juliet White and the Attlefield syndicate, who have been very patient.
She arrived with us last season looking like a RSPCA case. She had been in a big yard and hated racing. She was a skinny bag of nerves and horrid to ride but eventually Doug and Peter won her trust and she has now matured into a lovely horse with a really positive attitude. She loved the race and was completely chilled afterwards. Such a transformation. Needless to say the party was something else around the lorry (last to leave again) and then we all piled into the shepherd hut when we got back...... A really great night...

It was a beautiful Easter Sunday. Dad and brother Peter came for lunch. Peter has just got back from helping the street kids in Columbia. It makes you realise how lucky you are when you hear the accounts of how they live.

Tomorrow we are going to Thorpe with Lady Barfad and Val D'Auberge, both in the restricted.
