A great days racing and all four horses are safely back in their stables. We were delighted with them all. Dr K was on fire and was the keenest he has been all season finishing fourth in a really fast race with The King of Angels with Peter Bennett coming a very creditable 6th or 7th, Ask Away came a close third and would have won if she hadn't made a few jumping errors due to her inexperience and Whisper was in the Anglo/Irish challenge and had Declan Queally on board and bearing in mind she hadn't got around this season he gave her a fabulous ride and she came fifth having made most of the running for a lot of the way. Her leg felt fine this evening so fingers crossed she will be OK.
It was seriously good racing and a huge crowd was present so I hope the intuitive to have the challenge will be deemed a success and they will have a re-run next year.
