We have just arrived at soggy Fontwell where it has been raining all day. Not great for our horses but at least it is safe ground. We have got Out of Range, Doctor Kingsley and We Never Give Up. The competition is hot and they're not predicted to feature so the pressure is off and we can just enjoy the evening. It is an unusual figure of eight course and Dr K will either love it or HATE it as you have to go past the crowd so many times, so it will be interesting to see. We are short of options for him as the Grafton at Whitfield hasn't got a Men's Open race this year.  Fingers crossed they all come home safely.
As it is such a long way from home we are having a 'sleepover' and the three horses have got nice cosy stables for the night and Holly, Beth and ourselves are staying in the Travel Lodge which is very handily in the racecourse car park.
