Cheltenham was amazing today - I have never seen such crowds before on a Tuesday and the atmosphere was electric. Annie Power bought the house down when she won the champion hurdle race - the first mare since Flakey Dove in 1994 to do the same and the other Mullins mare Vroum Vroum Mag won the mares hurdle race with her ears pricked. Ruby and Rich Ritchie were both really emotional about Annie Power winning as she had a horrid fall last year at Cheltenham and was very lucky to have survived it. Most importantly I won our little 'in house' betting game where we allow ourselves so much each to bet and then see who has won the most at the end of the day - I was £8.50 up and Doug was £28 down - Yay! It makes a nice change though and I am sure he will reverse his form tomorrow

Before we whizzed off to Cheltenham all the horses had a bit of fun around the grass fields and we all managed to stay on board. Just.....
