A fabulous day yesterday at Whitfield. Cupachai (Noddy) went beautifully with El Raven on board and came a very creditable 6th out of 16 in the maiden. She then rode Don't Budge Me and really got a tune out of him, coming third in the Subaru restricted which means he now qualifies for the final at Stratford where the ground, distance and track will be more to his liking. El is riding like a demon and for a 16 year old she is quite extraordinary. Clare Hart rode Exclusive Rights who ran a fantastic race - We thought she had won but three horses went past the post together and she was a short head third with only half a length between all three. Holly and Amy won another two best turned out awards with Budge and Scruffy taking their tally for the season to 19. We then had a bit of a party around the lorry which went on into the evening....
