Our bucket and spades are packed and we are off to Cornwall. We are running Budge and Jess at Wadebridge on Sunday and thought it would be better to take them down today. We are staying at a cottage owned by Michael and Elaine Biddick for two nights and we are sharing with Clare Hardwick and her Mum, Helen. What could possibly go wrong?! The two horses are rated 110 (between them) so it may seem like a crazy idea to go all that way, but we thought it would be great for Scott and Paddy to have another run under their belts. Besides which I love Cornwall and any excuse to go there is always seized by me. The sun is shining and there is no sign of any snow so fingers crossed we have a great fun weekend and all come home safely.

- Pauline has been race riding her own horses in point to points for 15 years and is now training with Doug. Pauline has recently got her trainers permit. They are both passionate about National Hunt racing and achieving maximum potential from their horses in the best possible way. This is why ‘Equine Fitness’ is a very exciting new business for them. In 2006 Doug eventually plucked up the courage (it only took 7 years!) to propose to Pauline whilst they were on holiday in the Maldives and they married in the Lake District in June 2007.
