Popaway ran a really gutsy race, jumped like a bunny on ground she didn't like coming a very good third in a very competitive race. She looked a bit big in the paddock and blew for some tome afterwards so she will definitely come on from the run. I was so relieved that her mishap last time out hadn't knocked her confidence and that she came home safely.
We also had a WINNER with Top Garry, who won by ten lengths. SO exciting as he did it so easily and although he was really green he just sauntered into the lead when Page Fuller asked him to go on.   Fantastic for the other owners Andrew and Sarah, Mark and Helen and afterwards
we all enjoyed the magnum of champagne that  Doctor Kingsley had won at Cheltenham. Garry looks just like Dr K so it was very apt to drink a toast to the good old boy and hope that Garry can be half as good as he was.
Owner rider Hannah also had a fabulous round on Beech Hill coming sixth. Such a good day and nice to get our first winner of the season under our belts AND two best turned outs!
