We are off today for the Beckett Nuffield weekend which is an annual event and always really interesting. It is at Frome this year. Will report back on Sunday but rushing around like a headless chicken trying to get everything organised at the moment.
The big news is that Poppy has had her one and only puppy. Not a very good potato harvest this year but at least she and baby boy are doing really well. Very poignant not to have Spud at the birth as he is normally a very good 'mid-husband'. She was scanned as having 3-4 puppies but as she didn't eat for at least three weeks after Spud went missing I am sure that is the reason why she lost the others. So sad........but I am still convinced he will return.
