Jack's daughter's first night away from home
Well- I just couldn't resist. Completely mad I know, with three other dogs but they are very little and having four is just the same as one big one - Isn't it?!
I haven't done the blog for a little while because the weather has been so beautiful and I have been outside most of the time with very little time in the office except the necessary work. The two horses that ran last weekend, Dove and Red have had an easy week and Dream went to see the Roy the 'guru' as she didn't feel quite sound but wasn't actually lame, she just wasn't striding out as we know she can. Sure enough, Roy found the problem and corrected it - her stride lengthened by 5 inches. We were delighted and started making plans for her next run but then two mornings later her leg had blown up like a football. She had slipped over in the yard a week ago just goofing around and it was a delayed reaction from where she had knocked her fetlock. She is so accident prone. She is now on anti-biotics so wont be able to run for a while anyway.
Dove and Red are entered for either Dingley on Saturday or Paxford on Easter Monday depending on the ground, looking at the weather forecast it will probably be too wet at both tracks now.
Must go as I have got to check the puppy...........
