Poppy hunting with her Dad, Jack.

I rode Dove around the farm today and she was a bit of a lunatic - she thinks her poo doesn't smell now since winning on Saturday and has become a handful. Hopefully she will calm down this week as depending on the ground she is entered for the Atherstone this Sunday.

It was the most beautiful day again today and after doing horses, and office work I was able to do some more gardening. Doug is really busy at the moment and has got a backlog of work. James has been a great help - if it wasn't for the 'credit crunch' he wouldn't have become available as he was made redundant from his last job.

Poppy helped with the gardening - during which she helped in the hunt and ate her first mouse - every little bit - my son, Joseph, has got her brother 'Geoffrey' and we phoned him up to let him know how much tougher Poppy was than 'Geoffrey' - he couldn't accept that at all as 'Geoffrey' had just killed and eaten his first spider - probably sucked it to death. Joseph thinks 'Geoffrey' is harder than Poppy but with a name like that he can't be anything other than a pansy!
