We walked the course this afternoon and sadly it isn't safe to run on. The organisers have done a great job in trying to water it but as it's windy the moisture is coming straight out again. It wouldn't be so bad if it was consistent ground but there are some really firm patches and others where it has been over watered and quite soft. It's a shame as Doug and I took Frog and Dove out this morning and Dove has relaxed down nicely and is ready to race again. Doug was really pleased with Frog and doesn't want to sell her. We can always withdraw her from the sale.
I am just finding another race for both Red and Dove next weekend.
