We have been away for a couple of days in the Cotswolds celebrating my birthday and are supposed to be having a 'surprise' birthday party at Dingley this afternoon. I must dash and get food etc organised for my 'surprise' party!
A quick update on the horses - Dove was supposed to be running tomorrow at Ashorne but she has been in season for the last three days and had been an absolute horror - there is no way she would start in this frame of mind. I am going to quickly take her out this morning to see if her mood has softened. if not she can always go next weekend to Garthorpe. Red's near fore is still a bit puffy on and off so we will probably rough her off depending on how she is in the next couple of days.
