We have been so busy this week getting all our work done before going to The Royal Welsh. We are there for almost a week with the Velvet Energy stand. This is our 10th year and we still look forward to it as much as ever. There is always an amazing atmosphere there - they normally get over 200,000 people through the gates and a lot of them camp on site. In the evenings when the general public go home is when the fun starts. The cattle lines are full of people partying and singing. There is always good humoured rivalry between the English and the Welsh - the year before last there was a singing competition which was hilarious as the Welsh are bred to be good singers where as the English most definitely are NOT. It was the poor cattle I felt most sorry for.
Hopefully we will make some money on the stand too.....
Jay got back late last night and as we were at a barb-b-que her Dad picked her up. She is about to pop round to see us. It is so good to have her home safely.
My parents are looking after the house and animals while we are away so I better sign off and mow the lawn and get the house work done. We will be back on Friday when I will post some photos of the antics at the Royal Welsh....
