Had a great weekend - On Saturday we spent most of the day digging a trench across the paddock for the electric cable to the Shepherds hut, then in the evening we went to a brilliant 21st party, and then on to a 50th, where the 'olds' were still partying on down at 2 a.m as we drove past. We left there at 3.30 am and spent Sunday feeling slightly the worse for wear. We did, however, muster some energy up and go for a cycle ride in the afternoon. When we got back there was a message on my phone - it was the 'olds' (Stu and Polly) from the night before who were going to make the most of the marquee and the left over beef and beer and have another party. That was a lovely surprise as we hadn't had time to really talk to anyone last night and it was a great 're-run'.
Today was a bit steady in comparison - just office work and I actually cleaned some windows in the house. I have been looking at then in disgust for the last month but somehow seemed inert when it came to doing anything about them. It really wasn't that bad and I feel quite proud of myself now...
