The country is still in confusion as no-one knows who is leading it four days after the election. Nick Clegg (Lib Dems) who got less votes than last time has been wooed by both the Conservatives and Labour to try and form a coalition government. David Cameron (Conservative leader) seemed quite confident that talks were going really well - little did he know that the sneaky Nick was having secret talks with Gordon Brown (who lost)
Yesterday afternoon Gordon Brown resigned saying that as it was obvious the British public didn't want him he would stand down and make way for another leader. He was obviously advised that this might be more acceptable to the voters if Nick joined forces with a different leader. If the Lib Dems formed a coalition with the Labour party it would mean that the prime minister would be unelected by the public and the two parties with the least votes would be in power. Even with them joining forces they still wouldn't have the majority and would have to try and get support from the fringe MP'S like the 'green' candidate and the SNP (Scottish National Party) MP's who absolutely hate the Scottish labour MP's. so the chance of them all agreeing on anything are nil.
Conservative who were only 20 seats from having a majority can form a minority government but run the high risk of not getting any acts through because of the opposition votes.
It is so important to have a stable government now more than anytime as our budget deficit is even higher than in Greece and something needs to be done now to stop the markets from crashing.
The Lib Dems and Labour have shown their true colours by their sneaky dealings and it is obvious that the only thing that is important to them is POWER and not the interest of the country.
