First coalition for seventy years
Thank goodness sense has prevailed and the Lib Dems have formed a coalition with the Conservatives. Their shabby underhand behaviour and horse dealings with Labour will almost certainly not be forgotten or forgiven but at the moment and for the sake of the press, Nick Clegg and David Cameron are all 'loved up'
I believe that the only reason why the coalition with Labour failed was because the fringe MP's (Welsh and Scottish) made ridiculous demands - for instance the Plaid Cymru (Welsh) MP's asked for an extra £300 million for the Welsh people alone. Greed and Power - a dangerous mix. The stock market has reacted positively to the new coalition and with compromises made on both parts it should (hopefully) work well
