It's a hung parliament. Conservative had the most votes and the biggest gains since the 1930's but failed to get the majority by 20 seats. Labour had the worst election results since the 70's and yet Gordon Brown is still in number 10 refusing to leave. He is hoping to form a coalition with the Liberal democrats who came third. David Cameron is hoping to do the same and they are holed up in discussions at the moment. All rather messy.
Velvet Red is running today at Kingston Blount. Peter can't ride her as he has promised to ride another horse in the same race so we have Johnny Bailey on board - he has won around Kingston before and if her wind behaves she should do quite well - fingers crossed she come home safely.
