ELECTION DAY.
This evening we walked across the fields into the village to cast our vote. It was Jay's first vote in a general election - she went into the booth saying "can I vote for two parties?" She was clearly having problems making up her mind because she saw that the Green Party also had a canditate - thankfully I think she made the correct choice.
If we weren't so 'partied out' we would be watching the results as they come through tonight - I will be watching for as long as I can before I nod off. Let's hope for the right result. We simply could not survive another term with Labour in power.
