We had seven horses out this morning in one lot - the most ever. Will was on Aitch, Amy on Dove, Iona (Amy's cousin) on Red, Lucy on Dream, Doug on Frog, Dickie Barrett (who is fencing for Doug today) on Jake and me on Leon. We did three laps around the flat gallop and they all went really well. Aitch is beginning to settle in and we are just trying to teach Leon to work in a nice outline with draw reins, as he tends to stick his head in the air and doesn't use his back muscles properly. First thing Doug and Dickie went around the flat gallop with Doug on Harry (with draw reins otherwise he is impossible to hold)) and Dickie on Doris. She is a very promising prospect and we are so pleased that we didn't sell her. She really loves being part of the team and has taken any amount of work we have thrown at her without losing any condition or enthusiasm. She now deserves to be officially named with a slightly classier name than 'Doris'...
