Well, part of the reason why I haven't done a post for a while is because it didn't look as though it was going to be good news with the kitty, she got gradually weaker and absolutely wouldn't take an interest in any food I offered her. I was having to force feed her milk with a tiny teat on a bottle as she wouldn't lap on her own. Two nights ago I was about to give up on her but then thought I would have one last try, I mixed deer velvet, glucose and some horse anti-biotic up with her milk and syringed it down her throat. I then left her in the kitchen expecting her to be dead in the morning but to my surprise she looked much brighter and when I offered her some mince she ate it on her own and meowed for more - since then she hasn't looked back, is back in the stable and eats for England whilst purring very loudly. She now needs a new home as it probably isn't fair to keep her with three cat chasing terriers. Anyone interested?!
