Shade jumping poles for the first time
On Tuesday we had a day in the school for all the horses. Shade was the troublesome one before because she wouldn't go anywhere near the poles, even when they were just laid on the ground but with a lot of patience and perseverance she eventually started to pop over them and gradually we increased the height. She loved it in the end.
Harry was much better after his treatment by Ronnie and the others all went really well.
Yesterday Jake, Red and Dream went for a proper pre race gallop on the grass gallops. Jake was probably the fittest of all three and if his leg holds out and he starts to enjoy racing he should have a good season. Red is entered to run this Sunday at Higham but she had a touch of heat in her leg this morning so we will have to see how that develops. Very frustrating as she feels really well.
We are off to see The Kings Speech now at Rugby Cinema. I've heard rave reviews so hopefully it will come up to expectations. Its the nachos with cheese sauce and chillies I'm really looking forward to!
