Dove and Little Dove sheltering from the rain
It is still very wet so we had to bring Dove and her foal in as they were looking rather cold and wet. Little Dove is a real character and loves being in with the 'big' horses - all very grown up...

The excitement is building for tomorrow's big race with Doctor Kingsley at Cheltenham (I love saying that!) - Peter rode him this morning and we did twice up the gallops - I was behind him on Paddy and was supposed to be going upsides but he wouldn't let me anyway near - he is very well indeed.

I don't think we will get much sleep tonight - the nerves are really kicking in - Will he handle the ground? Will he jump those big fences? Will he like the course? Whittle whittle, I have to keep telling myself that he won his maiden on soft ground and although he has never been over regulation fences, he seems to relish big fences - the bigger they are, the better he jumps, and this season he seems to fallen in love with racing and hasn't had a 'non going' day yet... This time tomorrow all these questions will be answered. As long as he comes home safe and sound, anything else will be a massive bonus. Just to have a runner at Cheltenham is a dream come true.
