We are off to High Easter and it is beautiful sunny day. Sadly Definite Dawn is not racing as he still hasn't quite got over his bruised foot so we are just taking View the Dance. It will be interesting to see if she has got over her respiratory problem as although she is working well at home you can never tell until you actually race them.
Doctor Kingsley is all set for tomorrow. His summer coat has come through at last and he looks and feels a different horse. Ponty Pandy, Velvet Royale and Back in a Flash are also having runs.
The racing is going to be stopped today so that we can all watch the Grand National on a big screen. We have been busy in the lorry cutting up names of horses so that we can organise a sweepstake, my money would be on Cappa Bleu and Chicago Grey but most importantly my main concern is that they all come home safely.
Just driving onto the course now and it looks in great order.
