I am still hopping around but getting increasingly frustrated with how little I can do and how tired the general anaesthetic has made me feel. Patience has never been my virtue!
Whilst we were in Ireland we were looking out for a nice horse for a chap called Peter Bennett who has been race riding for as long as I can remember but hasn't had much success and is still full of enthusiasm for the job and would love a couple of winners before he retires. We put our contact on the job and he found a horse called Val D'Auberge. We did our homework on him and he seems to be perfect. The deal was done and he arrived at Peter's last week.

He will be coming to us to train in the Autumn and he looks as though he will give Peter a lot of fun.
