The vet came today to pregnancy test Velvet Dove and she is pronounced in foal! A great result bearing in mind she was just walked in to Midnight Legend and we only saw that she was in season the day before She loves having babies and is such an easy mare when it comes to reproducing. It is the first thing in her whole life that she has done willingly and with no fighting!
We are just off to our annual Nuffield week-end. We hosted it last year and it will be lovely to enjoy the experience without the worry of organising it.
It is being held in Worcestershire and being hosted by Oliver Surman who with his wife has started up the ready meal company called Pegoty Hedge , We will be visiting various other young entrepreneurs and should make for a fascinating and stimulating week-end.
