It almost felt as though Spring is around the corner today - The snowdrops are up and the daffodils aren't too far away. The birds are going in and out of the nesting boxes and the air was full of birdsong but I hope they don't lay any eggs as I am certain we are in for a very cold snap yet.
We are off to Lambourn gallops tomorrow morning with the Doctor, Definite Dawn and Varkala. I have never been there before and am looking forward to seeing what their gallops are like. We have entered Ponty Pandy, Definite Dawn, Varkala and Epistle for North Carlton on Sunday but we won't be running both mares in the same race and are more likely to run Varkala as she hasn't had a run yet.
All the horses that ran at the weekend have come out of their races really well and are full of beans.
