We schooled eight horses this morning, seven of which will be racing this week-end. On Sunday at Dingley we are running Val D'Auberge (Dug), Wild Dove (Eeyore), Velvet Royale (Dolly) and Whither Goest Thou (Ben). On Monday at Mollington we are hoping to run View the Dance (Dancer) Lady Barfad (Goody) and Ponty Pandy. Jess was entered but sustained a slight knock just above her fetlock in her last race so we will probably rough her off now and look forward to having her completely sound for next season. We also schooled Exclusive Rights (Scruffy) who will be making her debut next Sunday at Chaddesly Corbett with Out of Range (Harry) who is very nearly completely healed after his horrid wound which he got at North Carlton at the beginning of the season. They all jumped really well and fingers crossed they run to the best of their ability and come home safely.
We are all still floating about with silly grins on our faces after Cheltenham and I have a feeling the celebrations will go on for some time..........
