What a fantastic night last night. We started the evening at Bill's sipping champagne and watching again the DVD of Ponty Pandy winning, the cheer after he crossed over the line in front was almost louder than it was on the actual day!  We then went onto the Carpenters Arms where Marge had cooked a huge sirloin of beef with all the trimmings. Absolutely delicious.
The 'chairman' gave a little speech to much heckling, but the general feeling was what a wonderful season we have all had and how much they were looking forward to the next one, with possibly adding another horse to their string. They are a great bunch of owners and an absolute pleasure to train for. This is the first time I have been really sad for the season to end as it has been unbelievably incredible. Bring on the next one!
