It was the anniversary of my dear friend Sally's death yesterday. I cannot believe it was a whole year ago when we first heard the awful news. She is still terribly missed.

Tricia came over to have a drink in her memory and then Doug and I went to watch the Saints get beaten by Exeter where it was a 8 pm kick off. It was disappointing as they had been playing really well up to  this defeat but they were definitely beaten by a better side. We met up with a few friends afterwards which made it rather a late night and now we are off to Cheltenham for the Paddy Power Gold cup.  We are going to the point to point awards dinner tonight and staying the night in a nearby hotel. It is the first weekend we have had off since the horses came in so it will be a lovely treat.o
