All horses that ran over the weekend were fine this morning. It was a very wet day and as I trudged up and down the track in the mud getting the horses in from the field I reflected that it was just as well they are running well as it would feel like a very long season if they weren't! I don't think the average person realises how much work is involved with training horses. The girls, Lucy and Holly, worked so hard all weekend and were in again bight and early mucking out. It makes it all worth while when you get a great weekend like the one we have just had and it wouldn't happen without the team all pulling together.
