We got back with the six horses at around eight o clock, Kerry drove one lorry with three in and Doug the other and after settling the horses in for the night, ourselves, Kerry, Lucy and Holly went in the shepherd hut for a bottle of champagne and a reflection on the day we have had. With six horses we had one winner and two placed plus THREE best turned out. A great team effort.
We then went to the Eydon pub to meet up with Billy's parents and friends for a serious celebration. Everyone over the moon. Such a good day.
