Just arrived back in the UK having had a wonderfully relaxing week away in our favourite place, the Pelion peninsula in Greece. Deserted beaches, lovely walks, beautiful weather (most of the time!) an abundance of bird and wildlife, huge olives, amazing fresh fish, tasty Greek salads, crystal clear water, fantastic swimming and sailing, very friendly locals.......Waaaaaa! I want to go back!!
A week just isn't quite long enough.
We are now on our way to Ross on Wye where we have got our annual Nuffield Beckett weekend. It involves a get together with all the past Beckett Nuffield scholars who are a great bunch of characters, and each year it is taken in turns for one to organise visits to different businesses, normally agriculturally based but generally with an entrepreneurial theme.  Always very inspiring and although I am dying to see all the animals at home as they have all been very much missed, it should be a great weekend. I am sure Holly and Beth who have been looking after the menagerie really well whilst we have been away will continue to do so until our return on Sunday afternoon.
