Despite the dreadful atrocities in France on Friday night and with a deep sadness for the personal sufferings of those affected, we had a great weekend at Cheltenham. We stayed down there as we were going to the Point to Point Awards dinner and dance on the Saturday which was good fun, and well done to all those who collected awards. The highlight of the racing was on Sunday and seeing Sprinter Sacre blowing his opposition out of the water and romping home to the huge delight and relief of the crowd. Doug also had his own highlight when we were leaving Cheltenham as we bumped into the TV racing presenters, Jonathan Neeson and Lydia Hislop and after chatting with them about the days racing and what horses we had got in the yard, Lydia excitedly showed Doug the screen saver on her phone, saying that it was her very favourite horse of all time - and guess who it was..... Doctor Kingsley!!  She saw him win at Guilsborough and since then has followed his progress and is completely smitten with him, That absolutely made Doug's day, especially when you think of all the really high class horses Lydia has been involved with during her presenting career. Bless him.
