Happy new Year to everyone!
We had a wonderful evening with Lou Bates and co - We have been celebrating New Years Eve with the same group for the last ten years and every year we get older and sillier - Middle aged people behaving badly.
A great night and a wonderful group of friends to greet 2016 with.
After doing the horses this morning we went to Cheltenham races. Although the ground was heavy the horses seemed to be going through it well and it was good racing but turned bitterly cold. We have been very lucky with the mild weather lately but it looks as though all that is going to change.
We won't have to put up with it for long though as we have just booked up to go and visit our daughter Jay in the Andaman Islands where she is a chef.
