A lovely sunny day at Dingley but no runners as the ground wasn't suitable for young horses, being rather on the firm side. We couldn't believe how quickly it has changed. However, we were lucky to get there on time to watch any racing as we happily tootled off to Garthorpe. We were nearly there before it suddenly dawned on us we were heading off to the wrong track! A joint senior moment.
A lovely day though and rather nice to just enjoy the racing and company without worrying about the horses, it was also good for Bella and Lily to go to a track and not actually race.
Today will be very different though as we are now taking five horses - Rock, Dancer, Pixie, Bella and Elvis. It will be all hands on deck. Doug has just walked the course and the ground is perfect so all systems go...
