We had a really good schooling session yesterday. All horses either jumped in the menage or on the schooling ground. The horse that won 'most improved' was Percy (Last to Leave) Di Mitchell's horse. Previously his jumping was the main cause for concern but after a lot of encouragement and patience, mainly with Paddy on board, in the menage the penny suddenly dropped so we decided to try him up the big fences. and he flew them!  The video taken was genuinely his very first time over the big ones and we simply could not believe how well he jumped.

He was schooling upsides 'We Never Give Up' who is no slouch and he was even out jumping her!  We have a new jockey called Nathan who is now riding for us. He has taken the place of Scott who has sadly left as he was missing Wales and his girlfriend so much. The call of the valleys...... He was a great rider and very hard working so will be much missed. Paddy, Alice and Christina have really stepped up to the mark though and are doing a great job and Nathan is very capable and a really nice lad.
