I had a lovely Birthday yesterday. On Sunday night we stayed at The Plough in Ford and in the morning watched Jonjo O Neil's huge string of horses going up the gallops - He had 20 in a string and they all had number cloths on them, presumably so he could identify each horse - They looked amazing and it was great to see.
We then went on to Cheltenham to walk the course in readiness for the Hunter Chase evening on Friday. It was perfect ground good, good to soft in places and even if we get some rain tomorrow it should be absolutely spot on ( as long as they don't decide to water it that is!)
We then drove through some lovely villages and had lunch in Stow with a little bit of retail therapy in between.
All horses bouncing this morning and we seem to have everything entered up for the weekend with Hackwood Park, Dingley and Mollington all being possibilities depending on the ground.
