We got absolutely soaked this morning riding out but as Lucy was in we made sure we had a glass of bubbly to celebrate her first win. All the horses went well but although I have entered both Ted and Murphy for Godstone at the weekend the weather forecast looks as though the ground will be too soft again. Neither horse enjoys the soft ground, and the only horse that can cope with it, Top Garry is still not quite 100% fit having had so much time off with a pulled muscle.  I expect it will suddenly come dry and then we will be complaining that the ground is too firm...
