We are off to Larkhill with Scruffy (Exclusive Rights) and Budge. Clare is riding Scruffy in the first race and Scott is on his favourite pony, Budge, in the restricted. It was frosty first thing but looks all set for a beautiful crisp sunny day. There are lots of entries and very competitive racing so fingers crossed they come home safely.
We have been rushing about like headless chickens for the last few days as we are due to fly out to India tomorrow for nine days. We will be spending a week in Sri Lanka and then two days with Jay in Pondicherry where she has started up a new restaurant. She was so busy over Christmas and the New Year that she couldn't get away but things have quietened down a bit since and we are very much looking forward to seeing her new project.
