Oh dear we are in a rush - just off to Glastonbury for two days - it's not something that I would have particularly chosen to do as I'm not very good in crowds (150,000 people) but as we were offered free tickets from Hamish (the farm manager here) who is in charge of security, and as they normally cost around £200 and are always sold out withing minutes of them going on sale, we thought we ought to give it a whirl and be the 'oldest rockers in town'!! We have also been assured that we are in the 'VIP' section for our tent, which probably means that we are sharing a shower with only 1000 other people as opposed to 10,000. The reason he wants us to go is so that we can take his girlfriend, Sarah, down to see him, as he has already been there for two weeks getting things organised.
We have had a lovely week, weather has been perfect. We had my parents around on Sunday as it was Fathers Day, and we spent a lovely day together. We also had Maurice and Bridge around on Tuesday for a barbecue by the river - an absolute hoot. brilliant fun.
Must go and pack my beads and sandals.
